Date and venue
The Fifth Asian School-Conference on Physics and Technology of Nanostructured Materials (ASCO-NANOMAT 2020) will be held from July 30 to August 03, 2020 at the Conference Hall of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok, Russia.
The Conference Hall of FEFU is situated on the Russky Island near the downtown of Vladivostok. Vladivostok was founded in 1860. It is located on the Far East Coast of Japan See, on hills of Murav'ev-Amurski Peninsula and it surrounded by two bays. Vladivostok is a port city with population of about 700 000 inhabitants. It is the largest city in the Russian Far East. There is magnificent countryside, coastline and islands near the city. There are 4 universities and Far East Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences that consists of 14 academic institutes.
Climate
In the beginning of August, an average daytime temperature is around 26oC, but on sunny days it can exceed 28oC. The nights are usually warm. The temperature of water in the bays is about 20-22oC
